1. Introduction
1.1 In this policy, we set out details of the delivery methods and charges that apply to orders for our (Garsons) products made through our website ( 

2. Free delivery offer
2.1 We offer free-of-charge delivery to home address postcodes outlined in our delivery area on online orders of £99 or over, including VAT. Garsons has a right to withdraw this offer at any given time.
2.2 Orders of GBP £98.99 or under will be subject to a delivery charge of £10. Garsons has the right to amend this charge to lower or higher at any given time.

3. Delivery zones/areas
3.1 The full list of postcodes included in our delivery area can be found here. Subject to terms below.
3.2 We may, from time to time, agree to deliver products to other UK areas.
3.3 We do not deliver internationally.

4. Delivery methods and periods
4.1 The methods that we use to deliver our products, and the time periods within which delivery is usually completed, are as follows:
4.2 If your delivery address is within our postcode area, you will be able to choose from a range of delivery dates (Mon-Fri), subject to availability, usually within 5-7 working days. (Working days are considered Monday to Friday).
4.3 Typically, the delivery method for large and heavy goods items, such as furniture, is carried out by Garsons in-house van and team.

5. Delivery charges
5.1 Delivery charges will be calculated and automatically applied to your order during the checkout process or alternatively quoted by us in person or over the telephone.
5.2 Typically orders at £99 or above, providing the delivery address is within the delivery area, are free of charge. Orders below GBP 98.99 will incur a delivery fee of £10.
5.3 Garsons has the right to alter these terms at any given time. 

6. Additional services
6.1 Garsons provides an optional Build Service for furniture, barbecues and large packaged items, either in the home and/or prior to delivery; this service is subject to additional fees.
6.2 This service is only available when it has been pre-arranged and paid for prior to delivery.
6.3 The build service includes the removal of all packaging if desired. 
6.4 If this service has not been pre-arranged, we cannot offer it on the day of delivery.
6.5 The fees of the Build Service vary per item.
6.6 It will be verbally agreed upon by a Garsons staff member when confirming delivery arrangements that the service has been purchased.
6.7 The payment fees will be outlined at the time of purchase online, or alternatively, payment details must be provided over the telephone at the time of arranging delivery.
6.8 Garsons cannot remove old furniture, bbq’s or any other item belonging to the customer.

7. Receipt and signature
7.1 All delivery methods must be received in person at the agreed delivery address, and a signature must be provided as proof of delivery.
7.2 If there is no one present at the delivery address, the delivery will not take place and will be returned to the store. Garsons has the right to cancel the order in full if no contact is made within 24 hours of the agreed delivery date.
7.3 Should there be an issue with any of the items delivered, you must contact us within 24 hours of the delivery date.

8. Day of delivery
8.1 We will contact you normally before or around 9am to confirm your delivery on the morning of the pre-agreed delivery date.
8.2 A member of the delivery team will make contact within 15-30 mins prior to arrival.

9. Access
9.1 When purchasing an order, it is your responsibility to inform us of any access issues you foresee at the time of arranging delivery. This includes, but is not limited to, narrow doorways, steps, stairways, lifts, parking restrictions, other obstacles etc.
9.2 Garsons has the right to cancel orders should they not be able to deliver items suitably and safely.

10. Amendments
10.1 Garsons has the right to rearrange deliveries and cancel orders. In such an event, we will provide you with as much notice as possible and, if applicable, offer a refund.
10.2 If you need to rearrange your delivery, you must give at least 48 hours' notice; failing to do so may result in a cancellation charge.

11. Returns & Refunds
11.1 For items purchased online that you wish to be returned please telephone your local store as soon as possible, where the sales team will assist and provide you with instructions on how to proceed. 
11.2 For items purchased online that you wish to report as faulty or with which you have any concerns with, please email with as much detail as possible, including supporting photos, and we will contact you with the next steps.
11.3 For reference Garsons in-store returns & refunds terms: Any item returned to us in its original packaging, and as-new condition, within 28 days of purchase, may be exchanged for goods, a credit note or a refund on production of an itemised till receipt. We are unable to consider refunds for goods that are used or damaged by the customer, items where the seal or packaging has been broken, personalised items and perishable goods such as food and cut flowers. Items returned with a gift receipt may be exchanged for goods to the same value or a credit note only. Refunds can only be given in the same form of payment originally used to purchase the goods. This does not affect your statutory rights.
