Care Bears bring lasting smiles to Garsons Esher’s Charity of the Year
We’re delighted to share that all 250 Care Bears from our magical Christmas rainbow arch have now found their forever homes with Garsons Esher’s Charity of the Year, Shooting Star Children's Hospices.
The colourful Care Bear arch became a much-loved feature here at Garsons Esher’s toy department, spreading Christmas cheer to customers of all ages. We’re thrilled that the display has gone on to make an even bigger difference beyond our store.
After delighting Garsons visitors throughout the festive months, the bears travelled on to Shooting Star’s Guildford hospice, Christopher's, where they are now being enjoyed by the children and families supported by the charity.
Shooting Star Children’s Hospices provides vital specialist care and support for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions across Surrey and London, as well as their families. From nursing and symptom management to end-of-life care and bereavement support, their work makes an extraordinary difference during the most challenging of times.
This wouldn't have been possible without the support of our friends at Basic Fun! who generously donated all 250 beautiful Care Bears. Basic Fun! is a key supplier of Garsons, and we are delighted to have worked with them on this collaboration between us at Garsons and our Charity of the Year.
