Commanding stunning views across our pick-your-own fields, Garsons Restaurant takes its cues from nearly 150 years of growing heritage here in the village of West End. During our picking season, you can enjoy a menu prepared with fruit and vegetables picked that morning from the crops seen from the windows – you'd be hard pressed to find fresher food.
Our Afternoon Tea features the likes of Eton mess trifle and chocolate and coffee opera, alongside home-baked scones with clotted cream and strawberry jam and a selection of freshly-made sandwiches. Available daily from 11.30am; Traditional Afternoon Tea: £11.95 and Luxury Afternoon Tea: £17.95
The chefs create dishes to complement the changing seasons and take advantage of the best seasonal ingredients. As well as Garsons home-grown fruit and vegetables, they're working with our Farm Shop butcher Bevan's to source quality meat and sausages. Farm Shop manager Nigel Chandler is also helping to find fantastic speciality produce that you can enjoy in the restaurant and at home.
Inspired by Garsons' history as a supplier to London's Borough Market, the spectacular glass building echoes early 20th century market halls while giving views over the farm's pick-your-own fields. Garsons Restaurant seats 300 people with a further 90 seats on the outside terrace, and is fully accessible for wheelchairs and prams.
Well behaved dogs on leads are welcome in the Garden Centre, but unfortunately are not permitted into the restaurant. However, dogs are welcome to take a rest with their owners in our outside patio area of the restaurant.
