Thank You - Princess Alice Charity of the Year 2023/24

Garsons Esher were absolutely delighted to partner with our charity neighbour, Princess Alice Hospice, again in 2023/24 as our Charity of the Year. We've always had a strong link to the hospice being geographically so close, so it was a pleasure to work with them again.

Princess Alice Hospice provides a range of services that respond to the individual needs of patients and their families so that they can live life to the full, create memories, share special moments and when the time comes, support them through, before and after the death of a loved one.

Our fundraising included donating prizes for events such as the PAH summer Fete and dog show. We also displayed collection tins with a QR code and hospice pin badges at each of our tills. Our dedicated charity of the year board in our exit foyer and the hospice money spinner still proved popular with our little customers. As well as the PAH dove memory tree, where customers could write personal messages, which was displayed throughout the 2023 Christmas season.

From the farm, we donated fresh produce, such as strawberries and sunflowers, for the hospice events. In addition, Garsons Esher donated vouchers and stock to help support the hospice grounds, community projects and their shops.

All funds raised by Garsons customers and team have gone directly to the charity to help run the hospice and the services they provide.

We are delighted to announce the final figure from customer donations was £2652

Even though our dedicated year has ended we will endeavour to continue to support Princess Alice Hospice where we can for years to come.
