Get into the festive spirit and add a beautiful handmade touch to your Christmas celebrations with a relaxed and creative morning of modern calligraphy. Join Helen Wallace for a fun, 2-hour workshop where you’ll learn the basics of dip pen calligraphy and create your own festive Christmas crackers, greeting cards and gift tags. You’ll be guided through everything from mark-making and letter formation to numbers and connecting letters, while developing your own unique hand-lettering style. No previous experience is needed — the workshop is perfect for complete beginners and anyone looking to build confidence and add a little more flair to their lettering. The workshop suits both right- and left-handed writers, and you’ll be encouraged to work at your own pace in a relaxed, friendly environment. To keep the creativity going at home, you’ll also receive your own calligraphy starter kit to take away, including everything you need to continue practising your new skills.

This workshop will take place at Garsons Esher, Surrey.
Tickets cost £50 per person, which includes:
