CALLING ALL ARTISTS... GARSONS CHRISTMAS HOT AIR BALLOON

Yay, it’s the summer holidays! This means at Garsons we are busy planning, building and crafting our famous #ChristmasatGarsons!
Enter our Hot Air Balloon Art Competition for a chance to have your masterpiece reproduced and displayed in-store and online*.
Pick up an artists template instore, and hand in your original artwork to our Customer Services desk, or email to marketing@garsons.co.uk
How will you design your hot air balloon?
- Will it feature fun patterns and bright colours?
- Your favourite Christmas memory or festive family moment?
- What about showcasing your favourite animal or pet?
- Or, perhaps something you love to do, or your favourite hobby?
- What about creating a magical dream world?
- A landscape of your favourite place you’ve visited, or a place you wish to visit, or even something out of this world!
This is your Hot Air Balloon, designed just how you like it, and the possibilities are endless. It’s time to go up, up, and away!
Open to all ages, from pre-school to adults.
Please read the artwork guidelines very carefully before starting your masterpiece. BEST OF LUCK!
ARTWORK GUIDELINES
- Artwork must be completed on this sheet and within the balloon template outlines, the background will be removed.
- You can draw or paint using pencils, felt-tips, pen & ink, charcoal, pastels, watercolour, acrylics, oils, collage or even digital.
- Avoid using too many glitters or metallic materials because they may not show effectively in the final print.
- Avoid using lots of writing and text on the image.
- The original artwork/s must be handed in-store or sent to us, we will keep them safe should you want the original back.
COMPETITION RULES
You can enter as many times as you like. The competition is free to enter. Entrants must fully complete the entry form to be contacted in the event that they win. Entrants under 16 must get consent from their parent(s) or legal guardian(s). Please provide the parent's email address in the contact form. Entries must be originals of the named entrant. The judging panel is responsible for the selection of the winners, and the judge’s decision is final. Winners will be notified before the end of September.
The competition closes on Sunday 7th September 2025. Any entries received after this time will not be included in the competition, unless agreed otherwise. Or an extension has been published.

Each winner will have their artwork enlarged and displayed in-store for the duration of #ChristmasatGarsons
