HR ASSISTANT

Hours: Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm
Salary: £21,504 to £24,192 (depending upon experience)
Location: Esher, Surrey

We have an opportunity for an HR Assistant to join the Admin team at our Esher centre.

The main purpose of this role is to provide HR administration including: recruitment and selection, induction, general employee queries and correspondence, starters and leavers processing and payroll liaison. In addition you will be able to confidently “welcome” of new starters with enthusiasm.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • previous office administration/HR experience
  • good keyboard and IT skills (including Microsoft Word and Excel)
  • previous HR systems experience (not essential as training will be given)
  • excellent communication skills
  • the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines whilst maintaining excellent attention to detail.

  • customer service orientated – seeking to respond to enquiries promptly, accurately and efficiently

ASSISTANT SUPERVISOR – FARM SHOP

Hours: Full Time – Rota based alternate weekends
Salary: £17,136 - £22,356
Location: Esher, Surrey

We have an exciting opportunity for an Assistant Supervisor to join the team at our Farm Shop in Esher.

The responsibilities of the role are to:

  • Ensure merchandising and housekeeping standards of the shop are kept to the Garsons standards.
  • Be responsible for the whole department in the absence of your Line Manager.
  • Assist your Line Manager in their role and undertake any task as deemed reasonable.
  • Provide our customers with an exceptional level of service.
  • Order product using our retail management system and processing GINS.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Carry out every day duties such as advising customers; stock replenishment; stock taking; lifting and moving stock.
  • Cashing up tills and assisting in locking up at the end of the day.

 

The ideal candidate will:

  • Competent with using computers and Excel knowledge would be an advantage.
  • Enjoy dealing with and advising customers.
  • Have a passion for good food.
  • Enjoy working as part of a highly motivated team.

Salary: £17,136 - £20,460

We have an exciting opportunity  for a Sales Assistant to join the Fresh Produce team at our Farm shop in Esher.

The responsibilities of the role are to:

  • Ensure merchandising and housekeeping standards of the Fresh Produce department are kept to the Garsons standards.
  • Ensure displays are innovative, practical and maintained, and that these are refreshed on a regular basis.
  • Provide our customers with an exceptional level of service.
  • Order product using our retail management system and processing GINS.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Carry out every day duties such as advising customers; stock replenishment; stock taking; lifting and moving stock.

PYO SALES ASSISTANTS

Hours: Full-time including every weekend
Salary: £6.41ph to £8.12ph
Location: Esher, Surrey

We have an exciting opportunity for Sales Assistants to join the Pick Your Own team at our Esher site.

The ideal candidates will:

  • Have some experience and enjoy working as part of a highly motivated team.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills, and experience in a retail environment.
  • Have previous use of till systems.

Our PYO Assistants are required to work every weekend (Saturday’s and Sunday’s) and either 4 mornings or 4 afternoons during the week.

We are looking for candidates to start towards the end of May (exact start date depends on the season) working through to 31st October. The working week is approximately 35 hours per week.

Preference will be given to candidates who are available for the duration of the season and without any holiday commitments.

We have an exciting opportunity for a sales assistant to join the Garden Care team at our garden centre in Esher.

The responsibilities of the role are to:

  • Ensure merchandising and housekeeping standards of the  sundries department are kept to the Garsons standards.
  • Ensure displays are innovative, practical and maintained, and that these are refreshed on a regular basis.
  • Provide our customers with an exceptional level of service.
  • Order product using our retail management system.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Carry out every day duties such as advising customers; stock replenishment; stock taking; lifting and moving stock.

  • Have retail shop floor experience within a busy environment.
  • Be competent and confident with computer work.

SALES ASSISTANT/BUTCHER – BEVAN’S BUTCHERS

Hours: Your will be working a two week ROTA with two days off per week, you will be expected to work weekends.
Salary: Based on experience
Location: Esher, Surrey

We have an exciting opportunity for a sales assistant/Butcher to join Bevan’s Butchers team in the farm shop in Esher.

The responsibilities of the role are to:

  • Greeting and serving customers
  • You will be trained in the various different cuts and types of meat, you will also be trained on cooking times in order to advise our customers.
  • Ensure housekeeping standards are kept to the Bevan’s standards.
  • Ensure displays are innovative, topped up and maintained, and that these are refreshed on a regular basis.
  • Provide our customers with an exceptional level of service.
  • Communicate effectively at all levels.
  • Carry out every day duties such as advising customers; stock replenishment; stock taking; lifting and moving stock.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Ideally you should have a level 1 Hygiene certificate (not essential)

Hours: Fully flexible 20 hours  minimum
Salary: £7.40-£8.40 ph

The ideal candidates will:

  • Experience in a fast paced environment with high volume of sales
  • Barrista experience is essential
  • Enjoy and have some experience of working as part of a highly motivated team.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills, and experience in a retail environment.
  • Have previous hospitality experience (essential)

Garsons Restaurant Chef Vacancies – Chef de partie (hot/cold, pastry, breakfast)

Hours: Full time rota to include weekends
Salary: negotiable
Location: Esher, Surrey

We have an exciting opportunity for chefs with experience to join our expanding restaurant kitchen team at Esher restaurant.

The ideal candidates will:

  • Enjoy and have some experience of working as part of a highly motivated team.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills, and experience in a retail environment.

The positions which have become available are for experienced Breakfast/fryer Chef, Chef de Partie Pastry & Savoury with volume informal dining knowledge with in Store experience.

We also have a need for kitchen/deli assistants.

You will cater for up to 450 covers daily over 5 of 7 days, including weekends, but closed in the evenings. You will need to have your own transport or live locally to Esher.
The food offer incorporates breakfasts, deli bar with toasties, baguettes and grab & go salads together with traditional & contemporary British classic main courses as well as an array of cakes and pastries.
