The Rainbow Centre at Fareham recently received rather a late visit from a group of Easter bunnies, as Garsons of Titchfield delivered its remaining Easter stock to the charity. The Easter goodies will be used for The Rainbow Centre's Easter fundraising event in 2017.
The generous donation was gratefully received by The Rainbow Centre, which supports children and adults suffering with neurological disorders, brain injuries or stroke. Garsons has chosen The Rainbow Centre as its nominated charity for 2016, and the staff members were thrilled to visit and see how their efforts make a difference.
"We're proud to be fundraising for such a fantastic local charity this year," says Rachael Rogers, Garsons charity liaison. "The work The Rainbow Centre does in helping people of all ages overcome these life-changing conditions is just incredible and having the chance to see it for ourselves was humbling. We're all really looking forward to next year's Easter event now, and hope our donation will help them change even more lives."
The garden centre at Fontley Road, Titchfield, will continue to raise money for the charity throughout the year, with collections tins at its till points, donations of raffle prizes and more.
