Friday 31st October 2008                Last weekend to pick at Garsons Dear Customer, Our PYO Fields close for the winter on Sunday night 2nd November. In our fields now we still have pumpkins, spinach and carrots - so this is your last chance for 2008! Please ask for a pumpkin recipe card, they are good to eat as well as carve for Halloween! Preparations are already underway for next year’s crops, we have just finished planting a new field of strawberries and raspberry pruning will be finished before we start on the fruit trees. Garson Farm’s gates will re-open in May 2009, when the first crop available to pick will be the ever-popular Asparagus – check out www.garsons.co.uk for further details. 2008, our 27th season of Pick Your Own at Garsons, has been most enjoyable and we would like to thank all our customers who visited the farm this year.
